7 FOUNDATIONS

1. PRAYER

Prayer is the inner bath of love into which the soul plunges itself. - St. John Vianney

Prayer draws us into intimacy with God, and at the same time, it humbles and transforms us.The first one is the personal prayer.During Jesus’ life and ministry,He regularly advocated and practiced the discipline of private, personal prayer. For example, Jesus offered a model prayer in teaching his disciples to pray. Then, Jesus specifically instructed his disciples, “But when you pray, go into your room, and close the door” (Mt 6:6).Just as Jesus and the early disciples highly valued prayer, personal prayer is vitally important in our Ministry .The second one is the intercession prayer .Intercession is an action. It is the agonizing in prayer! Our Lord Jesus is the perfect example. Our Lord Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with vehement cries and tears (Hebrews 5:7). It is so easy to pray for our own selves and for our families. But God wants us to go beyond. Marian ministry opted this two methods of prayer .

2. SCRIPTURE

"Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ,” - Saint Jerome

Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. The catechism of the Catholic Church states that "God speaks to man in a human way" through sacred scripture. In order for the reader to be divinely inspired, however, three things are necessary. People must be attentive to the content when reading scripture, it must be read in the tradition of the whole church and people must be attentive to the "analogy of faith."The Catholic Church grants special spiritual favors to those who will read Sacred Scripture daily.

Scriptural interpretation must be guided by the Church, and the Sacred Scripture must be read in the context of the Tradition of the Church.

3. TRADITION

We follow catholic tradition Matthew 16:18-19:” thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Jesus found only one church. He didn't found thousands of denominations. It is the fact of the history that this church is the catholic church.

4. SACRAMENTS

"The Church must introduce the individual Christian into an encounter with Jesus Christ and bring Christians into His presence in the sacrament." - Pope Benedict XVI

Each of these seven Sacraments were instituted by Jesus Christ Himself and are the means by which visible actions and physical matter communicate supernatural realities and His grace to us and allow us to participate in the divine life (CCCC #1131). When ourselves in Heaven, we will no longer need physical signs because we will actually be living in the supernatural reality of the Trinity (CCCC #1130).It is also important to understand that the more we participate in the divine life while we're here, the more our intimacy with Him deepens. The more our intimacy deepens, the more grace we receive. The more grace we receive and the closer we get to God. So Marian Ministry rooted in the Sacramental life.

5. MARIAN DEVOTION

“Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.” - Saint Maximilian Kolbe

Our Minstry in based on marian spirituality. The Fathers of the Church wrote about Mary as the “new Eve,” associated with Christ the “new Adam” (St. Justin and St. Irenaeus). She is referred to as “mother of the living,”  at the Council of Ephesus (431 AD), she is spoken of dogmatically as the “God-bearer,”After this event, Marian feast days proliferated in both the East and the West.True and authentic Marian devotion develops into a commitment to an ever deepening fidelity to the good news of Christ, an invitation to bring the strongest and most genuine needs of the Gospel into daily life. The Gospel reveals to us how Mary prays and intercedes in faith. At Cana, the mother of Jesus asks her son for the needs of a wedding feast. At the foot of the cross, Mary became "Mother of all humanity."

6. ECUMENISM

“In ecumenical work, Catholics must assuredly be concerned for their separated brethern, praying for them, keeping them informed about the Church, making the first approaches toward them." (Decree on Ecumenism, Unitatis Redintegratio,no.4).

We strictly follow the catholic tradition. But we are premoting unity without discrimination we aim to restore unity both amongst and within different Christian denominations.Central to the concept of ecumenism are the themes of unity, fellowship and collaboration. For marian Ministry, ecumenism considered a vital mission, for it was Christ who gave us the gift of unity and thus all of us should strive to enhance, restore and maintain this gift as appropriate.Better relationships and better understandings of different Christian perspectives are essential. We should remember that within the Roman Catholic Church there are many different rites and that while all are focused on the same God adored in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the different rites are often unique in terms of aspects of heritage, liturgy, tradition, customs and cultures. The key word with regard to the uniqueness of the different rites within the Catholic Church and between other Christian denominations is diversity and diversity should be a source of celebration and rejoicing rather than division and separation.

7. THE NEW EVANGELIZATION

“The New Evangelization calls each of us to deepen our faith, believe in the Gospel message and go forth to proclaim the Gospel. The focus of the New Evangelization calls all Catholics to be evangelized and then go forth to evangelize. In a special way, the New Evangelization is focused on re-proposing the Gospel to those who have experienced a crisis of faith. Pope Benedict XVI called for the re-proposing of the Gospel "to those regions awaiting the first evangelization and to those regions where the roots of Christianity are deep but who have experienced a serious crisis of faith due to secularization."
